Did all the bean flecks float to the top? and where did you get so much vanilla!?

Kathryn - the bean flecks are in there, they're just hard to see with my inferior camera. They also spread out quite a bit after simmering (the ones in the second photo are still clumped together from scraping). I ordered the vanilla beans off of Ebay.Marion - I have many, many more vanilla bean pods to work with. We could whip some up on Sunday, if you'd like to help. I plan on serving some with coffee and tea on Sunday as well, so there will definitely be opportunities to taste.
Woot! Too bad the liqueur wont be ready for another couple of months. This would be a perfect opportunity to test it!
@MarionI was thinking that I'd bring some to taste in October when we make applesauce. It should be ready by then.
